How to Calculate 3" x 6" Subway Tiles - READ HOW TO CALCULATE SQUARE FOOTAGE FIRST

One of the hardest things to do is making sure that you order enough tiles for your project. If you have not already before reading this, please read how to calculate square footage and have your square footage already calculated.

Pictured above: Gothic 3" x 6" Subway Tiles

These smaller tiles are some of my favorite because in my opinion the smaller the tile the more interesting the application becomes.

To calculate it is very simple as the hardest part you already know (how to calculate sq ft), so now take the number of sq ft x 8 (there are 8 tiles per sf in 3x6 subway)

EXAMPLE: You have calculated that you need 12 sf including the additional 10%

12sf x 8tiles = 96 (You need 96 tiles)

Now take that number 96 and using the drop down menu at www.antiquemirrorglassshoppe.com you can purchase your tiles.
